Hi, I'm Kerry - founder and lead practitioner at The Inflection Practice.
My background is unusual in this field, and I think that matters. Before training as a coach therapist, I co-directed two start-ups in engineering and compliance — spending over 20 years building and leading businesses. That experience gave me first-hand understanding of what professional leadership actually demands: the pace, the complexity, the pressure to perform, and the particular cost of that pressure for people who have always had to work harder than others to appear the same.
It also gave me a clear view of where standard approaches fall short — and what leaders whose minds work differently genuinely need.
I hold master's-level qualifications in both coaching and therapy, am a Registered Member of the BACP, and am a specialist in ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD. My clients have come from a wide range of sectors — including scientific research, pharmaceuticals, compliance and risk, engineering, AI and app development, the music industry, media, banking, construction, the arts, private education, higher education, and charitable foundations.
I am currently completing a Doctorate in Coaching and Mentoring at Oxford Brookes University. My research focuses on developing a specialist model for coach therapists working with leaders whose minds work differently — contributing to more effective and precisely tailored approaches in this emerging field. This makes the work I do not just grounded in direct practice, but actively informed by ongoing rigorous inquiry.

The Inflection Practice exists to provide the kind of support that leaders whose minds work differently have often spent years not finding — precise, human, and operating at the level where the real difficulty lives.
We are not here to help people fit a neurotypical mould. We are here to help them lead sustainably, on their own terms, with a clear understanding of how their mind works and what it needs.
We take a more integrated approach than standard coaching — working with the whole person, not just the professional role. We begin where the client is, not where a framework says they should be.
Some clients need therapeutic space before forward-facing work becomes possible. Others arrive ready to move more quickly. We read that in the room and respond accordingly — challenging where we notice dissonance, providing structure where a client needs it, following where they need to find their own ground.
Confidentiality is fundamental to everything we do. So is pace — we never push a client further or faster than they can genuinely absorb.
Our practitioners are highly qualified coach therapists with specialist expertise in cognitive difference and professional leadership. All are registered with relevant professional bodies and work within a rigorous ethical framework. We are approved to deliver Access to Work coaching.
